Default Software that runs hidden

In order to protect an Excel workbook from being tampered with during my
absence for a short time I'd like to trigger the built-in webcam as soon
as somebody types in a wrong password*). The workbook has already a
VBA-script that works perfectly.

The camera should then take a couple of pictures or 5 seconds of video, all
this having been set up in advance.

For this purpose it's crucial that the software doesn't reveal itself by a
splash screen or the like, it just ought to do its job and nothing else.

Does anybody know a program which might serve my needs?

*) Before my harddisk crashed I had such a program; its author removed the
splash screen for me. But this is a while ago, I don't remember either the
name of the program nor the author's.

Thanks and bye!
